spring grazing

Miles Smith Farm of Loudon, NH, introduced a few of their Scottish Highland Cattle herd this morning to graze at Emery Farm in Durham. The cows were clearly very excited about the new spring grass.

    Dear Cozette,
These are lovely pictures. The last image of the cow looking at you would, I think, have caused me to at least take a step or two back! I hope this note finds you well.

    Thanks, Todd!
It was a fun morning watching the cows. They wanted very little to do with us humans, they were much more interested in the grass!

Those cows have a lot of personality! I’ll bet they like a change of scenery. It must be stimulating for them to be in a new place with new things to eat and look at. We will certainly enjoy looking at them . Thank you!
